The Kiwitag Blacks are the official New Zealand Representative brand team for all things New Zealand Tag Football Inc. All New Zealand players are selected from the NZTFI sanctioned domestic competitions. Players of New Zealand descent who play in Australia or anywhere where there is ITF sanctioned tag competitions are also eligible for selection. Players need to be citizens of New Zealand. The Kiwitag Blacks compete in the Bi Annual Trans Tasman Series between the Kiwitag Blacks and Oztag Australian Tagaroos and the ITF Tag World Cup events respectively. They do not participate in the Oceania Cup Tournaments.
